The BOH Tea Plantation, which is located at Cameron Highlands, Pahang, Malaysia, is also the largest tea plantation in Malaysia. Cameron Highlands is one of the country’s most fertile agricultural spots, possessing all the right attributes for growing outstanding tea, and is situated over 5,000 feet above sea level on the main mountain range of Malaysia.
Spanning over 465 hectares, BOH Tea Plantation is oldest of BOH’s tea plantations. The largest tea plantation in Southeast Asia, BOH produces over 4.5 million kilograms of tea annually or 5.5 million cups daily. It is also the home of BOH’s first tea factory which was built in the 1930’s.
BOH Plantations Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is among only a few tea companies in the world to plant, harvest, process, package and market its own teas. BOH is best known for producing black tea in Malaysia since it was first established in 1929.
